Genotype (BB cmc Dd): Homozygous black base (BB) with one copy each of (cm) mottling and (c) white with dominant slate in heterozygous form (Dd). This is the darkest form of the dominant slate painted. This phenotype is referred to as grizzled slate painted.
Breeding results are: Grizzled slate painted, grizzled lavender painted, grizzled black painted, black tuxedo, slate tuxedo, lavender tuxedo, and white.
