The genotype of the Pencilled Mottled Brown Winged Auburn is (b'b' cmcm ee pnpn for males and b'b' cmcm e- pnpn for females): Black-winged bronze based with mottling, brown and pencilling. They carry the same (cm) mottling gene as the painted turkey variety. The adult color/patterns of the pencilled mottled brown winged auburn can show a slightly mottled tail pattern with an added pencilling pattern and some frosting effects in the body. This variety is still under development to work on even more mottled and pencilled pattern expression.
