The genotype of the mottled brown winged auburn is (b'b' cmcm ee for males and b'b' cmcm e- for females): Black-winged bronze base with mottling and brown. They carry the same (cm) mottling gene of the painted turkey variety and can be produced out of any chocolate painted that are Bb' based. The adult color/patterns of the mottled brown winged auburn can show a slight mottled tail pattern with some frosting effects in the body. This variety is still under development to work on even more mottling pattern expression if at all possible.
