A black bird with random mottled to royal palm-like feathers. Each white feather has small to large random black mottling effects with some more like that seen in a royal palm. They breed 50% true to color/pattern, also producing a low number of royal palms and marbled blacks.
The amount of mottling a bird gets will increase after each molt, and they will reach their maximum amount of mottling by their third or fourth year.
They are on a heterozygous black/black-winged bronze base (Bb' , homozygous for gray (cgcg) and Narragansett (nn/n-).
