The Golden Phoenix is a variety that we developed and named.
They are a black-winged bronze-based bird with the addition of Narragansett and red modifying genes. (b'b' Ccg nn Rr) males, with females hemizygous n- at the Narragansett locus. This variety will never breed 100% true due to their genetic makeup.
They are the exact same pattern as our Red Phoenix, just the addition of the Narragansett factor dilutes red to a golden color.
They can produce many different varieties: Black Winged Narragansett, Black Winged Golden Narragansett, Light Buff, Dilute Cornish Palm, Golden Phoenix, Royal Palm, Calico, and Red Palm.
